城大建築科技學部於4月8日至9日在校內舉辦第十二屆「建築科技博覽」，主題為「從香港角度看可持續發展」。
William Benter純數及應用數學傑出講座系列第一講於1月26日在城大舉行，主講嘉賓為Paris-Sud大學及印第安那大學Bloomington分校Roger Temam教授，講題是「研究海洋與大氣層方程式的理論與計算問題」。

City University's third annual WebCourse Fair 2003 kicked off on 14 January with a virtual exhibition showcasing the use of the Internet for teaching and learning. Last July, Mr Eric Cheng, Senior Lecturer in the Division of Building Science and Technology, joined the Third China Synergy Programme (CSP) for Outstanding Youth as a Group Mentor. He and a Coordinator worked with 20 mentees in the group, which was one of the 12 groups which participated in the programme.
