Students with Special Education Needs (SEN)

Everyone is unique. CityU values the diversity of its students and is committed to providing a learning environment that is conclusive to the success of all its student, including those with Special Educational Needs, in their pursuits to achieve academic excellence and continued personal development. We believe students with SEN have equal right to enjoy both academic and non-academic opportunities. Collaborating with faculties and supporting units, we strive to provide a barrier-free learning environment and improve access to academic programs, campus activities and facilities for students with special educational needs.

CityU places paramount importance on the safety and security of people and property.  Our security team, in cooperation with local law enforcement, maintains a round-the-clock vigil, day in day out, to ensure the well-being of staff, students and visitors.

Financial Assistance

Financial Assistance

The University provides a number of financial assistance schemes which are donated by individuals, private organizations, professional bodies or academic departments to full-time local students who face financial hardship or whose financial needs are inadequately met by the Government Grants and/or Loans.

Scholarships

Scholarships

To recognize students' academic and non-academic achievement, the University offers various types of scholarships and prizes which are donated by individuals, private organizations, professional bodies or academic departments.  In general, the award value varies and it may range from HK$5,000 to HK$100,000 each.
