CityU’s strong performance in international ranking exercises represented the culmination of a continuous emphasis on scholarly knowledge and an excellent education and research environment for faculty and students. It is also a testament to the “soulware” factor embedded in CityU’s contributions to society and higher education through the integration of teaching and research. CityU ranks 54th in the world according to Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) for 2023, and is the 4th best university in the world under 50 years of age according to QS for 2021.
