各位同事：2月23日，在討論有關2005-08三年期大專教育撥款公開信件的結尾，我強調：「在高層管理同事的共同努力下，我在應付撥款削減的過程中會盡力堅持兩個工作重點：繼續保持城大課程的質素和員工隊伍的穩定性。」最近教職員協會進行改選，我與新一屆的執事會晤時，也再一次強調了這兩點的重要性。
CityU's College of Higher Vocational Studies signed a collaborative agreement with Coventry University in the UK on 9 February to launch a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Business Information Technology. CityU's 2000-2001 Annual Report and Financial Report won a Bronze prize in the Non-profit Making and Charitable Organization category in the 2002 Best Annual Reports Awards organized by the Hong Kong Management Association (HKMA).
