由四名城大學生及畢業生合作設計的活化一級歷史建築方案獲選為「無限之旅──石硤尾邨美荷樓意念創作比賽」公開組優勝作品。
來自香港及澳門百多名中四至中七學生，於12月3日（星期六）齊集香港城市大學校園，參加一年一度的「香港中學抗震模型比試」，一嚐當結構工程師的滋味。
城大開辦首個建築及法律雙學士學位課程。此課程將建築及法律知識結合在一起，為學生和僱主締造雙贏局面。課程於2006年正式開辦，首批學額20名。
逾30名建築系學生學以致用，協助重建廣西偏遠山區一間小學宿舍。宿舍於今年三月底落成，命名為「香港樂群樓」。
