城大師生將第三度與特殊學校天保民學校學生聯合組隊，出戰來年的「渣打香港馬拉松2022」，透過運動促進共融，並於11月1日舉辦「城大X保民結伴跑」開展禮，為準備賽事揭開序幕。
城大校長郭位教授聯同約240名城大跑手，參與10月24日渣打香港馬拉松2021。今次是郭校長連續十二屆（除2020年因新冠疫情停辦之外）率領城大馬拉松隊參加渣打香港馬拉松，展現城大人文修武德的風範。
城大學生發展處宿舍生活組與學生宿舍每年舉辦一系列舍際比賽，促進不同背景學生之間的交流和合作。
城大去年加入全國普通高校統一招生計劃，至今已透過該渠道取錄了400名內地學生。他們都非常珍惜來港升學的機會，並希望善用在城大學習的日子，為未來奠下堅實的基礎。
城大學生運用所學的資訊科技及工程學知識，發揮科學頭腦及創造力，設計及製作了多個機械人，問鼎《全港大專生機械人大賽》盟主寶座。
Twenty-three Faculty of Science and Engineering (FSE) students have formed two teams to enter the Robocon Hong Kong Contest -- Lovers' Reunion on 20 June. The winning team in the Hong Kong contest will represent Hong Kong at the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2004 (ABU Robocon) in Seoul, Korea, in September.
Because of the outbreak of SARS, also known as atypical pneumonia, City University, together with its seven local counterparts, suspended classes for two weeks, from 29 March to 13 April. Although the situation seemed alarming, the two-week suspension was an unexpected holiday for many CityU students, especially for the non-local students who live in halls.
