約三百位城大校友於6月18日參加「Hi校長——校長雲見面」活動，通過與校長郭位教授及其他大學代表了解城大最新發展，加強與母校的聯繫。
城大與三間創投基金及科技企業簽署備忘錄，建立共同投資合作夥伴關係，額外向獲甄選的「HK Tech 300」的初創公司，合共提供每年至少1,500萬港元的天使投資。
城大生物醫學工程學系講座教授兼系主任、機器人與自動化研究中心主任孫東教授，膺選2022年國際醫學與生物工程院院士，以表彰他在機械人學及生物醫學工程的卓越成就。
為進一步促進香港與內地的科創發展，實行「以賽促創」，城大宣佈於全國推出第一屆「HK Tech 300創新創業千萬大賽」。
城大於3月21日舉辦的科學及工程學院工業展覽日，吸引了逾500位來自200多家機構的工業家蒞臨參觀。
City University's School of Law presented a wide range of degree programmes at the Law Fair 2003 held in the Exhibition Centre of the China Resources Building on 15 February. CityU, the University of Hong Kong's Faculty of Law, and 17 major law firms participated in the Fair, which was a comprehensive exhibition of law-related study and career opportunities. Law firms taking part included Deacons, Clyde and Co, Stephenson Harwood and Lo, Denton Wilde Sapte, and Linklaters.
在校園招聘講座頻繁的三月份，60多位城大學生出席了3月13日香港青年工業家協會在城大舉行的青年工業大使研討會。
More than 110 alumni and guests gathered at City University on 6 March to hear Mr Or Ching-fai, General Manager of the Hong Kong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, share his views and experiences on handling employer-employee relations during the current economic downturn. The "Happy Gathering" was organized by the City University Alumni Association and the Development and Alumni Relations Office.
City University's WTO Law & Dispute Resolution (WTODR) Centre received its third important visitor from the WTO, Mr Evan Rogerson, Director of the WTO Council and Trade Negotiations Committee (TNC) Division, on 12 March 2003.
