城大生物醫學工程學系講座教授兼系主任、機器人與自動化研究中心主任孫東教授，膺選2022年國際醫學與生物工程院院士，以表彰他在機械人學及生物醫學工程的卓越成就。
秦泗釗教授榮獲2022年美國化學工程學會計算與系統技術部計算與化學工程獎。
城大電機工程學系講座教授陸貴文教授榮獲中國工程院第十四屆光華工程科技獎。
4月30日，在傑出教學獎牌匾揭幕儀式上，校長張信剛教授說：“牌匾將提醒我們：城大是教與學的中心。過去10年來，我們一直將教學質量作為城大的中心主題，沒有誰能比我們在此看到的這些名字更能體現這一精神。”牌匾上刻有自從1993年傑出教學獎建立以來所有獲獎教師的姓名，在牌匾遷入教學樓入口處之際，城大專門為其舉行了揭幕儀式。
