城大校長郭位教授聯同約240名城大跑手，參與10月24日渣打香港馬拉松2021。今次是郭校長連續十二屆（除2020年因新冠疫情停辦之外）率領城大馬拉松隊參加渣打香港馬拉松，展現城大人文修武德的風範。
城大於10月8日晚演出以「樂韻飛翔」為題的開幕音樂會，由著名大提琴演奏家王磊先生率領一眾香港年輕音樂家演出多首大師級樂曲，為10月8日至11月3日舉行的2021/ 2022城大藝術節揭開序幕。
