Celebrated actor Mr Chow Yun Fat, recipient of the Honorary Doctor of Letters conferred by CityU in 2001, shared his life experiences with about 300 staff and students at the Wei Hing Theatre this summer.
Mr Chow told stories of his life as a lad growing up on LammaIsland and as a young, budding artist in search of the right opportunity. "The most important thing is to know yourself and to persevere in whatever you choose to do. There is no short cut to success," he advised the audience.
