City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) is dedicated to pioneering research and innovation at an international level. This mission is advanced through its strategic establishment of specialized research institutes, centres, and laboratories, which serve as focal points for interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary collaboration to address pressing global issues.
With the approval from the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, CityUHK has established two State Key Laboratories and one Hong Kong Branch of a Chinese National Engineering Research Centre. These prestigious national research platforms empower our world-class teams to drive scientific breakthroughs with impact for both China and the world.
