The organisers, the Residents' Associations of 10 undergraduate halls and the Student Residence Office (SRO), received an overwhelming booking of 64 tables, resulting in a total of 770 participants for the event on 24 February.

The students were joined by Professor Way Kuo, CityU President; Professor Alex Jen Kwan-yue, Provost; Professor Horace Ip Ho-shing, Vice-President (Student Affairs); Mr Sunny Lee Wai-kwong, Vice-President (Administration); and heads of departments and residence masters.

Under the theme “Once Upon a City”, lively MCs from Australia, Hong Kong and India kept the event running smoothly, introducing highly entertaining and very funny activities such as the “Best Costume Performance Competition”.

The student performances throughout the night were of the highest quality, ranging from the South Korean dance group “URBANITE” to the Bollywood Fusion “DAZZLERS”. They showcased how diversified and talented our student residents are.
