With a full house, some 150 alumni of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) attended an interactive workshop on how to achieve enduring love, using the Enneagram personality models at the Happy Hour Gathering conducted by the Alumni Relations Office (ARO) in the evening of 5 July.

The workshop, named “The Enneagram in Love — Keys to Enduring Relationship”, was hosted by Ms Annie Chiang Wai-yu, a veteran CityU social work alumna who is a trainer, psychology self-help book writer, columnist and registered social worker. The event was part of the Happy Hour Gathering series organised by ARO.

Annie introduced the Enneagram and shared how it could be applied in love to find the best match for each personality model. She also explained how one could learn from his/her partner and complement each other’s merits and demerits. Alumni enjoyed a great evening on campus interacting with Annie and extending personal network with other fellow alumni.

To further strengthen alumni relations and celebrate the 30th anniversary of CityU in 2014, ARO plans to organise a variety of alumni activities such as Happy Hour Gathering series, Alumni Forum, CityU Homecoming Gala, and non-local events in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing and Australia, etc.
