Delegates from key high schools across the mainland enriched their understanding of City University of Hong Kong (CityU) during a campus visit on 26 November.

The 46 delegates, who came from 39 schools in 13 provinces and cities, were introduced to the University’s professional learning and research development both in Hong Kong and the mainland. The delegates also toured teaching and learning facilities and had productive exchanges with CityU representatives and students.

Professor Way Kuo, University President, said the visit was a good opportunity to strengthen ties between the University and key high schools on the mainland. He said he hoped that the visiting delegates could promote CityU’s strengths to their students on the mainland.

The mainland delegates were welcomed by CityU’s Professor Roderick Wong Sue-cheun, Vice-President (Development and External Relations); Professor Paul Lam Kwan-sing, Vice-President (Student Affairs); Professor Gary Feng Gang, Associate Provost (Academic Planning and Undergraduate Education); Dr Catherine Chiu Chu-hing, Acting Dean, College of Humanities and Social Sciences; Professor Lu Jian, Dean, College of Science and Engineering; Professor Wang Guiguo, Dean, School of Law, and other senior management figures.
