CityU shines in highly cited researchers list for 2014

 

 
City University of Hong Kong (CityU) ranks 2nd in Hong Kong in terms of the number of Highly Cited Researchers named in the list of Highly Cited Researchers 2014 published by Thomson Reuters based on their work at CityU and published with CityU as their primary affiliation.

The 2014 list of Highly Cited Researchers in the natural sciences and social sciences complements the 2001 list. The 2001 list was updated in 2004, taking into account papers published between 1981 and 2003. The 2014 list covers highly cited papers published between 2002 and 2012.
 
Scholars who are named as Highly Cited Researchers write the greatest numbers of reports officially designated by Essential Science Indicators℠ as Highly Cited Papers, which are among the top 1% most cited for their subject field and year of publication.
