H.O.P.E. HK (Homeless Outreach Population Estimation Hong Kong) Survey Report Conference

At the survey report conference, the findings of a city-wide homeless street count by H.O.P.E. HK will be presented, including the number, health and mental health conditions of the homeless in Hong Kong. The last count was conducted by the Social Welfare Department more than 10 years ago.
 
The street count was organised by City University of Hong Kong (CityU)’s university-wide volunteer programme, the City-Youth Empowerment Project, together with community partners: Society for Community Organization, the Salvation Army, and St James’ Settlement. A few homeless individuals, H.O.P.E. HK volunteers and staff from CityU and community workers from the partners of H.O.P.E. HK will also share their findings at the conference.
