Students from the Department of Marketing at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) were praised by a number of local and multinational companies for their outstanding performance in conducting marketing consultancy projects between January and April this year.

Some of the students will meet the media tomorrow (30 May) to discuss their consultancy projects and thoughts on building a new image, exploring new markets and rejuvenating a brand.

Winning teams will be announced at the award presentation ceremony on the same day. Professor David Tong Shuk-yin, Deputy President of CityU, Mr Arthur Chan Man, Chairman of Departmental Advisory Committee in the Department of Marketing, Professor Zhou Nan, Head of the Department of Marketing; and representatives from participating companies will officiate at the ceremony. The companies include California Red, eBay International Hong Kong, KOSÉ (Hong Kong) Company, VF Asia – Kipling, Otsuka Pharmaceuticals (H.K.), Sun Hung Kei Financial and South China Morning Post Publishers.
