Forum discusses new trends of internet finance in China

 


The College of Business (CB) at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) organised a forum on China economy on 26 January in Shenzhen to discuss the latest trends of internet finance and other economic policies in China. Over 200 participants attended the event.
 
Professor Paul Lam Kwan-sing, CityU’s Chief-of-Staff, opened the event with a welcome speech. Professor Leon Zhao Jianliang, Chair Professor of Information Systems, shared with the audience the use of big data and financial analysis.
 
The forum also invited Professor Zhou Maoqing, Vice-President of Research Department for Financial Leasing Industry of China Academy of Social Sciences, Mr Wu Xiaowen, President of Penging.com, and Mr Zhou Wenlong, Former Vice President of Index Research Institute at China Financial Information Center, to share on topics such as the development of Renminbi as well as the “One Belt One Road” initiative in China.
 
Roundtable discussion sessions were also oragnised to invite reputable industrial leaders to discuss various business topics with the audience.
