Two architecture scholars based at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) shared the scientific applications of feng shui for the built environment at the launch of their new book on 1 April at CityU. The book shows how the principles and practices of feng shui help analyse the interaction between people, building and the environment.

The launch was for Scientific Feng Shui for the Built Environment—Fundamentals and Case Studies by Dr Michael Mak Man-yui, Part-time Lecturer, Department of Building and Construction, CityU and Dr Albert So Ting-pat, Programme Leader, Diploma/Certificate Programme in Facility Management, School of Continuing and Professional Education, CityU; and Director, Asian Institute of Built Environment.
