CityU Professor makes the grade at HKSA Council

CityU Professor Judy Tsui has been appointed to the Council of the Hong Kong Society of Accountants (HKSA) as a co-opted member, and will serve until mid-December this year.

 

Professor Tsui, Head of the Department of Accountancy, has been a member of the HKSA since 1981. She has served on various HKSA committees, including the Accounting Accreditation Board, Corporate Governance Committee, Editorial Board, Examinations Board and Syllabus Development Task Force.

 

She is also the first non-US member and the first Hong Kong academic to be nominated Vice-President International of the American Accounting Association. The HKSA Council comprises of 16 members, including 12 elected members, two co-opted members, and two ex-officio members.
