城大學生會於10月26日晚舉辦城大夜宴，以「愛．城大」為主題，充分反映同學對城大的強烈歸屬感。
城大於8月24日及8月28至30日為2007年度新生舉行迎新典禮，並以「轉變始於城大──由學生蛻變成專才」為主題，鼓勵新生要努力裝備自己，迎接未來的轉變。
