城大領導的研究推算出，將高收入國家捐贈予中及低收入國家的新冠疫苗比例提高至46%，不但可大大降低中及低收入國家的新冠病毒病確診率和死亡率，亦可在長遠上更好地保護高收入國家，同時減少變種新冠病毒在全球的爆發。
城大生物醫學系助理教授阮相宇博士及博士生梁靜泊，以數學模型結合統計分析推算出新冠病毒患者在不同感染階段時接觸的氣溫及相對濕度與其死亡率有關聯。
由城大學者及其他研究員領導的團隊，首次發現一種超彈性合金會反其道而行，即使被加熱至1,000K（開氏度，即約727°C（攝氏度））甚至更高溫仍能維持剛度，更幾乎沒有能量耗損。研究團隊相信，該合金可以用於製作航天任務所需的高精準度裝置。
