城大於2月23日為城大國際中心大樓舉行平頂儀式，標誌大樓建設的重要里程碑。
城大12月19日舉行典禮，標誌着採用「組裝合成」技術的馬鞍山白石學生宿舍展開組件安裝工程。
城大HK Tech國際中心大樓於11月29日舉行動土儀式。大樓定於2023年底啟用，這棟獨一無二的大樓，展現城大推動國際化校園氛圍的願景，讓學生可以在便利和舒適的環境進行聚會。
城大學術樓（三）憑綠色建築設計再贏得大獎，令大樓獲獎數目增至六個。
城大為配合新學制的推行，在本部興建學術樓（二）和學術樓（三）。兩座大樓的設計均注重環保，學術樓（三）更獲得環保建築獎。
學術樓（二）落成後正式啟用，標誌城大校園的擴建進入新的階段。
