研資局撥款支持城大研究計劃

香港城市大學（城大）近100項研究計劃獲研究資助局（研資局）2011-12年優配研究金資助，總金額近6,000萬元，反映城大的研究及專業教育取得卓越成就。
城大研究計劃申請撥款的整體成功率為27.4%。獲撥款資助的研究計劃中，有六成得到研資局的高度評價。
在學科分類方面，以研究項目的數量及資助款額計算，城大在研資局新設的商學學科組排名第二。在個別科目類別方面，城大的電機及電子工程，機械、生產及工業工程，以及數學，均名列前三甲。
城大共有20項研究計劃獲全額資助。此外，共有10個項目獲撥款超過或接近100萬元（見下表）。
