Professor Leung Kwok, Department of Management Chair Professor and Head, said the main objective of his department's internship programme is to acquaint students with actual working conditions in Human Resources Management and to enhance their competitiveness in the job market.

This year the Department of Management's internship partners included: The Hong Kong Jockey Club, McDonald's (Hong Kong), Training and Development Centre, and Warner Lambert Trading Co Ltd.

"The internship programme gave me the opportunity to equip myself with the knowledge of daily HR operations," said Ms Yuki Yeung, who interned at Hong Kong Seibu Enterprise Co, Ltd. She was also named the Most Outstanding Intern (Service Divisions) out of around 100 trainees from various institutions.
