Over 40 new titles and prize-winning books presented at the Hong Kong Book Fair

More than 40 new titles published by City University of Hong Kong (CityU) Press were showcased at this year’s Hong Kong Book Fair.

Also featured at the Book Fair were prize-winning publications by CityU Press. A People’s History of the Hong Kong Professional Teachers’ Union was chosen as one of the best books at the Hong Kong Book Prize 2017. Wang Shiwei: A Reform in Thinking, authored by Dr Louisa Wei Shiyu, Associate Professor of CityU’s School of Creative Media, won the Best Publishing Award in the Literature and Fiction Category at the Hong Kong Publishing Biennial Awards.

Professor Way Kuo, CityU President, and Professor Alex Jen Kwan-yue, Provost of CityU, visited the booth to congratulate the CityU Press team for producing quality publications.

A ceremony was held at the CityU Press booth to mark the milestone of CityU Press’s strategic collaboration with Guangxi Normal University Press. The partnership aims to enhance the University’s outreach and distribute quality publications in the mainland and overseas.​​​​​​​​
