CityU welcomes mainland high school delegation

Principals and other senior officials from key high schools across 15 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions visited City University of Hong Kong (CityU) for a day of familiarisation and interaction on 12 December.

The delegation was received by the University Provost, Professor Arthur Ellis (top right photo, right), who thanked the members of the delegation for supplying CityU with excellent students over the years and said he hoped to learn from peers in the education forefront in different parts of China.

The leader of the delegation, Mr Li Xuan (top right photo, left), Secretary of Affiliated High School of Fujian Normal University, praised the positive impact of Hong Kong higher education institutions on mainland high school graduates, with over 1,600 mainland students accepted by Hong Kong higher education institutions this year.
