The iMBA is the first academic programme in Hong Kong (and one of the first in the world) to be delivered broadband via the Internet. Launched in May 1999, the information rich, interactive delivery medium won the Hong Kong eAwards 2000 organized by the Hong Kong Productivity Council and was ranked as No.1 Best Distance MBA Programs 2000 in Asia by Asiaweek.

The iMBA is a joint venture between the Faculty of Business and Pacific Century CyberWorks Ltd (PCCW). More details can be obtained at http://www.imba.cityu.edu.hk
