Cheque presentation ceremony by The Shaw Foundation Hong Kong Limited
City University of Hong Kong (CityU) will receive a generous donation from The Shaw Foundation Hong Kong Limited to sponsor the University’s development. In appreciation of Sir Run Run Shaw’s significant support and contributions to CityU over the years, we will hold a cheque presentation ceremony on 22 September 2010 (Wednesday).

Sir Run Run is an internationally renowned entrepreneur who has gained outstanding achievements in the film and TV industries for many years. He has also played a major role helping to develop education in Hong Kong, on the mainland and worldwide, in addition to setting up the Shaw Prize in recent years to promote scientific research.
