活動:        「海洋環境研究及創新科技」工作坊

由香港城市大學(城大)領導的海洋環境研究及創新科技中心,開發了多項可於本港及區內應用的創新科技,用以監察和控制海洋污染及評估風險。中心將連續兩天為政府人員及環保組織代表舉辦工作坊,介紹這些創新科技。

 

此外,研究學者將於工作坊的第二天分享中心的部分研究結果,包括政府推行「淨化海港計劃」後維多利亞港的水質環境。

 

海洋環境研究及創新科技中心是大學教育資助委員會揀選的10項卓越學科領域之一,由城大領導,並與本地五所大學合作進行研究。中心獲大學教育資助委員會卓越學科領域計劃撥出4,500萬港元研究資助,開發一系列可以及早監察、評估及控制因人為活動對海洋所造成影響的創新科技。
