郭位校長日前在接受香港電台專訪,闡述他對培育未來領袖的願景及使命。

In an exclusive interview with Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK), President Way Kuo talked about both his vision and mission for nurturing future leaders for society as well as our flagship innovation and entrepreneurship programme, HK Tech 300.

The HK$500 million allocated to HK Tech 300 would help to establish 300 start-ups championed by CityU students in three years, he said, adding that our emphasis on basic science and the liberal arts helped to nurture the creativity required for professional careers.

With regard to recent achievements, President Kuo highlighted CityU’s growing global recognition, noting that we are ranked 1st among local universities in the top 100 universities for US utility patents granted by the National Academy of Inventors.

The RTHK programme ended with CityU’s anthem, for which President Kuo wrote the lyrics.
