CityU explores collaboration opportunities on research with Guangzhou Government

 

Guangzhou Govt Visit

A delegation from the Guangzhou Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, led by its Chairman, Mr LIU Yuelun, visited CityU on 5 July 2018 for exchange and exploration of possible research collaboration opportunities. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Professor Matthew LEE, Vice-President (Development and External Relations). 

The delegation met the University researchers in the fields of biomedical sciences, materials science and engineering, and electronic engineering.  They showed great interest and appreciation in the University’s recent research achievements. After the meeting, the delegation toured the CityU Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory and State Key Laboratory of Millimeter Waves to learn the state-of-art equipment and facilities as well as the deliverables by the laboratories. 

The exchange was brought about by Mr WONG Chun Hong, a member of the Guangzhou Committee who is also a University Court member, member of Board of Governors and Honorary Patron of CityU Foundation.
