OBOR’s cultural communication mission

One Belt One Road (OBOR) is the revitalisation of the ancient land-based and maritime silk roads, according to Professor Feng Da-hsuan, Director of Global Affairs and Special Advisor to the Rector of University of Macau, at City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on 24 July.

This Theme Based Public Lecture sponsored by the HKSAR Government was titled “Cultural Communications - Ancient to Modern Silk Road: Chinese Millennium Mindset Transformation”.

Professor Feng said China, as one of the few major global nations with profound and ancient cultures, should aim at creating a better future for humanity. Only through cultural communication could one establish a communication paradigm, he said.

Professor Feng is a Fellow of the American Physical Society and an expert in nuclear and nuclear astrophysics, quantum optics and mathematical physics.​​​​
