Huge party greets Year of the Monkey

 

Over 1,000 faculty and staff members got together on 17 February to celebrate the start of the Year of the Monkey at a special party organised by the Human Resources Office.

In addition to a scrumptious lunch buffet and the Chinese handicraft stalls, other celebratory activities included a traditional Chinese lion dance, a highly entertaining acrobat show, a band featuring musicians from the School of Creative Media and the Department of Linguistics and Translation, as well as the ever-popular lucky draw.

After delivering his welcoming remarks, Professor Way Kuo, President, joined by
vice-presidents, deans and unit heads, wished everyone a wonderful and prosperous new year.
