QS rankings success

City University of Hong Kong (CityU) has been ranked 57th in the latest QS World University Rankings.
 
CityU is now positioned among the top 100 universities along with three other universities in Hong Kong.
 
In fact, CityU was ranked 1st in Hong Kong in terms of the number of citations per faculty member, QS revealed, highlighting the quality of its faculty. According to QS, research conducted by CityU faculty has made a significant impact on a global scale.
 
“We are delighted that CityU has been recognised through the new QS world ranking,” said Professor Way Kuo, CityU President.
 
“CityU is committed to the pursuit of excellence to make a difference in the lives of the next generation and to bring about benefits for society. We will continue to improve to fulfil our commitment,” he added.
 
The QS results affirm our consistently strong performances over recent years and indicate that the University is leading the world in several academic disciplines.
 
Professor Kuo thanked everyone on campus for their hard work, perseverance and valuable contributions to realising our 2015–2020 strategic vision.
