Taiwan industry and commerce delegation visits CityU

A delegation from Asia Pacific Taiwan Federation of Industry and Commerce visited City University of Hong Kong (CityU) on 9 May to get updates on the University’s latest development.

Members of the delegation included Mr Alexander Pann Hantang, Chairman of the Federation, Mr Yen Chuengkuang, Director General of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office, and Ms Constance J.J. Hu, Chief Executive of the Federation, among others. They were briefed on the CityU’s latest development when they met Professor Way Kuo, President of CityU, Professor Paul Lam Kwan-sing, Chief-of-Staff, Dr Hao Gang, Associate Vice-President (Development), and Dr David Cheng Xing, Associate Vice-President (Mainland and External Affairs).

They visited the Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre after the meeting to see the exhibition “Pure Land: Inside the Mogao Grottoes at Dunhuang” organised by the School of Creative Media. The presentation of wall paintings inside Cave 220 of the Mogao Grottoes by an integrated use of cutting-edge technology deeply impressed the delegation.
