City University of Hong Kong (CityU) students will soon be able to apply to study, experience different cultures and meet new people at the Newcastle University in the UK under a new student exchange programme.
On 26 February, CityU signed a memorandum of agreement with Newcastle University to launch the new international exchange programme. Every year, the two universities will each send six undergraduate students to study in the other partner institution for a semester.

Professor Ella Ritchie, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of the Newcastle University (front row, left), led a delegation and attended the signing ceremony at the CityU campus. She was warmly welcomed by Professor Arthur Ellis (front row, right), Provost of CityU, and other senior management members.
