Teachers Update Course 2002

Secondary school teachers are expected to benefit from the Teachers Update Course (TUC), to be held from 25-28 June. Organized for the fifth year by the Offices of Institutional Advancement, the annual event enhances closer links with secondary schools.

"The TUC provides practical assistance for teachers in local secondary schools to update themselves on both subject content and pedagogy. This CityU initiative has been highly commended by educators and practitioners in the field," said Professor Y S Wong, Vice-President (Institutional Advancement).

Talks, forums and workshops on various subjects, including biology, chemistry, Chinese language and culture, web teaching, principles of accounting and student counselling, will be offered by CityU staff specializing in the relevant fields. More than 30 CityU staff will participate in this year's event.
