Admission Requirements

Admission is decided on a competitive basis. To be eligible for admission, you must have the following qualifications:

  • a bachelor's degree from a recognized tertiary institution or an equivalent qualification in related field;
  • preferably having one or more years of work experience in a professional communication area (e.g., integrated communication, advertising, public relations, corporate and public information, marketing communication, web or multimedia production, etc)

Applicants whose entrance qualification is obtained from an institution where the medium of instruction is not English should also fulfil the following minimum English proficiency requirement:

  • a score of 79 (internet-based test) in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL); or
  • an overall band score of 6.0 in International English Language Testing System (IELTS). Applicants with an IELTS score of 6.0, an interview to examine their English proficiency is required; or
  • a score 450 in the new College English Test (CET-6) of Chinese mainland; or
  • other equivalent qualifications

*TOEFL and IELTS scores are considered valid for two years. Applicants are required to provide their English test results obtained within the two years preceding the commencement of the University's application period.


The programme is now open for both local and non-local applicants. Required by the Hong Kong Immigration Department, all non-local students must enroll in full-time study mode (i.e., taking 12 or more credits per semester) and obtain a student visa before coming to Hong Kong. For non-local applicants, you can also refer to the website of the Global Engagement Office to find out about living in Hong Kong and other aspects of student life at the University.



Tuition Fee

Tuition fee is charged on a credit unit basis. The tuition fee for the 2026-27 academic year is HK$7,600 per credit or HK$228,000 for 30 credits.
