Global Talent Flow Data Hub

How can cities understand and respond to the global competition for talent? The Global Talent Flow Data Hub is a large-scale data infrastructure developed to monitor, analyze, and visualize the international mobility of high-end talents across cities, institutions, and sectors. By integrating multiple data sources, including publications, patents, professional profiles, institutions, and innovation-related databases, the Hub provides a comprehensive platform for studying how talent moves globally and how such mobility shapes urban competitiveness, research collaboration, and innovation capacity.

The Hub supports the development of city-level talent and innovation indices, including the Future City Index, and provides data-driven insights for governments, universities, industries, and public institutions. It aims to help stakeholders better assess talent competitiveness, identify emerging talent hubs, understand brain drain and brain gain dynamics, and formulate evidence-based strategies for talent attraction, retention, and development.
