COM Taekwondo Talent Chau Ngai Long Secures Bronze Medal at WT President's Cup America 2026

Congratulations to Ngai Long!

Last week, Chau Ngai Long, a newly admitted bachelor student in the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong, represented the Hong Kong team at the Taekwondo WT President's Cup America 2026 in Lima. His exceptional performance earned him a bronze medal in the Men's 54 kg category, marking the fifth international competition medal this year. 

“The medal means a lot to me and boosts my confidence to compete with international opponents. I will continue striving for more outstanding results in the future.”

Currently, there are nine COM students under the Student-Athlete Learning Support and Admission (SALSA) Scheme, which offers various support to balance sports achievements with academic excellence.
