PhD Alumni Dr Dani Madrid-Morales Ascends to Co-Editor-in-Chief at Prestigious Journal

Dr Dani Madrid-Morales, a graduate of the 2018 PhD class and currently a lecturer in the School of Information, Journalism and Communication at the University of Sheffield, has been appointed as Co-Editor-in-Chief at the Journal of Communication.

As the leading publication in the communication field, the Journal of Communication is among the most cited and highly regarded titles in its area.

He will begin his role on 1 September 2026.
