Department Visit by South Tuen Mun Government Secondary School

On 29 June 2026, 25 students from South Tuen Mun Government Secondary School have visited the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK). 





To enhance senior students' understanding of communication studies at the university level, Ms. Katrina Yu, Consultant of COM, delivered a talk highlighting the characteristics of our bachelor’s program and the exchange and internship opportunities available through the department. Additionally, Ms. Yu conducted a mini-lecture introducing the fundamental definitions of various media and communication forms, focusing particularly on broadcasting and media types.





Beyond the learning experience, the students explored our professional teaching facilities, including the Omnimedia Digital Newsroom, 3-D Virtual TV Studio, and Advertising Design & Shooting Studio. We believe this visit will benefit all students by increasing their awareness of media and communication studies.
