Delegation Visit by Southwest University

On 21 May 2026, a representative from Southwest University visited the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong.

The delegation comprised members from the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges (OICE) and the School of Journalism and Communication. It included Mr. Yuanhong Dai, Deputy Director of the Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan Affairs Office; Ms. Yi Zhang, Officer of OICE; Professor Wei Long, Dean of the School of Journalism and Communication; and Professor Hua Zhang, Department Head. These faculty members participated in a productive meeting with COM to discuss topics related to potential short-term exchange programs, research collaboration, and technological partnerships, fostering mutual understanding between the two institutions.





Following the meeting, the COM faculty escorted the delegation on a tour of the department’s professional teaching facilities, offering insights into the actual learning environment for their students. Representatives from COM included Chair Professor Shuhua Zhou, Associate Professor Nancy Dai, and Assistant Professor Vincent Wang.
