CityUHK JUPAS Consultation Day 2026: Discover the Pathways in Media and Communication Studies

On May 16, 2026, City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) hosted the CityUHK JUPAS Consultation Day, offering prospective students a valuable opportunity to explore their academic options. During the event, the Department of Media and Communication (COM) presented its unique undergraduate programs through an engaging information booth. This initiative aimed to help senior secondary students understand how COM's offerings align with their academic aspirations and assist them in making informed JUPAS choices.





The session featured two distinguished faculty members, Assistant Professor Seungsu Lee, Programme Leader for the Major in Media and Communication (BAMDCM), and Vincent Wang, Programme Leader for the Major in Digital Television and Broadcasting (BATVB). They provided a detailed overview of the revamped program structures, highlighting how these courses aim to prepare students for dynamic careers in media and communication. The presentation also covered practical opportunities like internships and outlined various career paths that graduates can pursue in the field.





In addition to the consultations, faculty representatives Mr. Sunny Chan, Deputy Programme Leader of BAMDCM, and Miss Katrina Yu, Deputy Programme Leader of BATVB, along with student ambassadors, shared their experiences. They offered valuable insights into COM's teaching methods, learning environment, and course features, providing a comprehensive understanding of the programs offered.
