Delegation Visit by Zhejiang University

On 14 May 2026, Professor Xingdong Fang, Dean of the College of Media and International Culture at Zhejiang University (ZJU), visited the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK).

As part of the visit, the COM faculty organized an academic meeting with Professor Fang to explore potential collaborative opportunities. The discussion focused on fostering synergies in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including initiatives for student exchange and joint research projects. Key participants from COM included Professor Yi-Hui Christine Huang, Head and Chair Professor, as well as Chair Professor Shuhua Zhou.





Before the meeting, Professor Fang was given a guided tour of the department's professional teaching facilities alongside PhD students. During the visit, he participated in a simulated exercise as a weather report host, gaining first-hand insight into the teaching and learning environment at CityUHK.
