In early May, a delegation from the School of Journalism and Communication at Chongqing University paid a visit to the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK).
The visit began with an academic meeting attended by representatives from Chongqing University, including Dean and Professor Guo Xiaoan and Professor Liu Danling. They engaged in in-depth discussions with Professor Yi-Hui Christine Huang, the Head and Chair Professor of COM. During the meeting, both parties explored new academic synergies aimed at enhancing collaboration in areas such as student exchange programs and research initiatives. Along with identifying potential opportunities for cooperation, they also shared recent achievements and activities, fostering a mutual understanding of their respective accomplishments.
Following the meeting, the delegation toured CityUHK’s professional teaching facilities, where they observed simulations of how students are trained to become skilled anchors and reporters.
