Delegation Visit by Shanghai Jiaotong University

On 8 May 2026, Professor Xu Jian, Associate Dean of the School of Media and Communication at Shanghai Jiaotong University (SJU), led a delegation to visit the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK).





During the meeting with COM faculty members, the SJU representatives engaged in in-depth discussions on ways to strengthen academic collaboration between the two institutions. Topics covered included program highlights, exchange initiatives, and other collaborative prospects. The SJU delegation also included Mr. Ning Chuanlin, Assistant Researcher, and Dr. Qian Yefu, Postdoctoral Researcher.





Meanwhile, COM faculty members presented updates on the department’s latest developments and showcased their new collaborations with external institutions. They also provided a guided tour of their professional teaching facilities for the visiting delegation. Key attendees from COM included Professor Yi-Hui Christine Huang, Head and Chair Professor, Professor Shuhua Zhou, Chair Professor, and Associate Professor Nancy Dai.
