MA Taiwan Study Tour 2026

From April 29 to May 5, 2026, a group of 24 postgraduate students from the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) participated in the MA Study Tour to Taiwan, organized by the department. The study tour included visits to three major cities—Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung—providing students with valuable academic and cultural experiences.





As part of the program, participants visited the esteemed local media company, National Education Radio. The visit offered students an in-depth understanding of the daily operations involved in radio production and broadcasting. They also had the opportunity to engage in a practical workshop simulating a radio DJ experience, gaining hands-on insights into the field of media production.

Beyond academic activities, students explored notable cultural landmarks such as Jiufen, Liberty Square, and the National Palace Museum. These experiences allowed them to appreciate Taiwan’s rich cultural heritage and deepen their understanding of East Asian history and traditions. The tour served to broaden their global perspective and enhance their awareness of global media and cultural developments.
