Delegation Visit by University of Science and Technology of China

Last week, the Department of Media and Communication (COM) at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK) hosted an academic visit by the faculty of the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC).







The delegation from USTC, including Prof. Zhou Rongting, Dean of the Institute of Advanced Technology, and Prof. Zhu Mengxiao, Associate Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, participated in a collaborative meeting with COM faculty members. During the meeting, they explored possibilities for enhancing academic collaboration in undergraduate and postgraduate studies, as well as research and exchange programs. The attendees from COM included Prof. Yi-Hui Christine Huang, Head and Chair Professor; Associate Head and Professor Chris Shen; and Associate Professor Crystal Jiang.



Following the meeting, USTC representatives toured the Digital Newsroom, 3-D Virtual TV Radio, and Advertising Room to gain a deeper understanding of the actual learning environment.
